These football logos were designed and hand embroidered by the Kakuma Art Collective in 2019. Each one, although unique reflecting its creator, all incorporate a yellow jerry can and a ring of thorns. Both images were chosen by the group as universal symbols that represent life in Kakuma; endurance and resilience in the face of hardship.
